Membership
We always welcome new members to Camdenville Paddock Community Garden. Individual membership costs $40 ($20 concession), or $80 for a family/household. Business membership costs $200. Memberships must be renewed each calendar year. Membership allows you to visit the garden, join the chook care roster, compost your green scraps from home, get involved with our paddock days and open days, and participate in the committee and all garden activities. You can be a member without leasing a plot. To sign up as a member please complete a membership form online. Becoming a member requires that you comply with the garden's Code of Conduct (included with the application form) and agree to abide by the guidelines outlined within our Plan of Management. There is much work involved to maintain the garden, and we need as many volunteers as possible. Come and get your hands dirty, build some garden beds, share your ideas or skills, attend meetings, put your name on the list to be a plot holder – there are lots of ways you can get involved! We welcome all local residents and businesses to join our Garden. Lease a Plot There is currently a waiting list for plots. If you are interested in leasing a plot please email the membership coordinator. A full plot costs $120 ($50 concession) per year. A half or shared plot costs $60 ($25 concession) per year. A business plot (full) costs $500 per year. When a plot becomes available your application will then be assessed by the Newtown Sustainability Group Committee, the assessment criteria can be found in the Plan of Management. Plot fees are payable each calendar year and you must be an existing financial member. All fees for membership and plot leases are invested in the ongoing development and improvement of the garden.
